When the founders of Snareobics approached Foresight Mobile, their innovative drumming app was in a tough spot. After more than a year with another agency, development had stalled. The app was far from ready for its public debut, and its core music lesson functionality was buggy and inaccurate.

Key Solutions for Education App Success

• Lesson Overhaul: The existing music score renderer was replaced with the open-source MuseScore software suite, a far superior fit for Snareobics' educational goals. Foresight created a custom MuseScore library for Flutter, allowing for 100% accurate score rendering and realistic audio.
• Subscription Model: We implemented a recurring revenue model for the app, leveraging our RevenueCat Premier Partner status to streamline subscription management. We also extended the app to allow for volume purchasing and educational licensing, allowing students to use the app for free.
• Performance & Stability: Beyond the core issues, we addressed numerous bugs and performance bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable user experience.

Snareobics launched successfully and has been adopted by both individual drummers and music education programmes, reflecting the app's accuracy and reliability following the rescue work. The MuseScore-powered lesson renderer eliminated the bugs that had stalled development for over a year, and the RevenueCat subscription model opened up educational licensing as a new revenue stream.
