Digital B2B Showroom

We've all had an interesting ten minutes putting too-tight jeans on in a changing cubicle. Strange how they're always one size smaller than you expect!

At Foresight Mobile, we pride ourselves on creating innovative and practical solutions for our clients. When Levi Strauss and Co., the world's biggest denim brand, said they needed a mobile app development agency to build a Digital B2B Showroom mobile app for them, we were more than ready to take on the challenge. Our aim was to create an iPad app that would streamline the sales process for Levi's and change the way they showcase their products to retailers around the world.

Utilising the latest technology, we designed a native iOS iPad Pro app that not only allowed retailers to view and order Levi's products with ease, but also provided an immersive and interactive experience. With the ability to zoom in on the tiniest details of each garment, retailers could appreciate the craftsmanship and quality that goes into every Levi's product without ever having to set foot in a physical showroom.

Project Execution

The Digital Showroom app is a native iOS iPad Pro app, which uses SwiftUI for the front-end and Realm to handle the data and queries. Items can be filtered and ordered by a number of variables - with clothing type, colour, seasonality, forthcoming availability being just some of the examples. Prices can be tailored to reflect differing price agreements with individual retailers.

One of the standout features of the app is the ability to zoom continuously from a collection of 32 items right into the garment - close enough to see the individual fibres. This is achieved through some custom tiling technology implemented at Foresight Mobile, combined with Levi's ultra-high resolution photography.

Results

The Levi's Digital Showroom app gave the sales team the ability to showcase the entire collection from a single iPad, eliminating the need for physical showroom visits or product samples shipped internationally. This change in how B2B pitches were conducted saved the team significant time and reduced the carbon footprint of the sales operation.

The project demonstrates how a well-built native iOS app can directly change commercial operations for a major global brand. Custom tiling technology, offline-capable product data, and iPad-optimised UX combined to give Levi's sales representatives a genuinely competitive tool for retailer meetings.
