Say Hello is a free mobile app we produced for Wall Street English, designed to help beginner and intermediate English speakers practice English language and grammar at any time, using their mobile.
Wall Street English have been established since 1972 and have taught three million people English in a variety of centres all over the world. They have over 420 centres in 29 countries and have a current intake of 18,000 students per month.
The mobile app tracks everything you do in English, and even reminds you to practice more often! It allows you to save the most useful or interesting conversations you’ve had, and practice English by using them again and again with classmates through social features.
Wall Street English Centres around the world teach English in an immersive, real-life environment and want their students to lose their fear of making mistakes, whilst building their confidence… and having fun. The app mirrors Wall Street English’s teaching methodology.
The app has a huge number of users across the world, especially in Asia, where Wall Street English do most of their business. It’s localised into 15 languages and fine-tuned to run smoothly on old and new devices.

The Say Hello app was built as a companion to Wall Street English's classroom teaching methodology. Rather than drill-based vocabulary practice, the app focuses on real-life conversation: saving interactions, replaying them, and sharing them with classmates. This mirrors how WSE teaches in-centre — immersive and error-tolerant.
Foresight Mobile worked with an agency partner on this project, handling the native iOS and Android development while coordinating around a shared design vision. The app is localised into 15 languages and optimised to run on a wide range of devices, including older handsets common in Asia where WSE has its largest user base.
The Say Hello app has become an integral part of Wall Street English's learning experience and is used by learners around the globe. Despite a light-touch support and maintenance schedule, the app remains strong and continues to perform well. We constantly monitor its quality using tools like Crashlytics to ensure a reliable experience for learners.
